Pashinka moya!
ah! my roots are showing!
SAMARA
Me with my companion Sister Natasha Yakovleva.  She's from Vyborg, Russia.  This was taken on our last day together, actually in the train as she was leaving to Saratov.
One of my favourite families in the Avrori Branch....the Sinyovi!   Natasha (the eldest daughter--with dark hair) served on a mini-mission as my companion a few months after this picture was taken.  Yulia (the youngest) is always a favourite with the missionaries.  Galya (the mom) is just one of the coolest people I have ever met.
Me and my beloved Ukrainian, Sister Pashina on her very first day ever on a mission. This was taken outside our apartment.

This is after the baptism of Anya and Lena, who were the first investegators I was able to help teach and to see baptised.  They were friends of Ksenya from her school.
L-R  Natasha, Anya, Sister Purves (my trainer) Ksenya, Lena, and me.
Bahamas here we come!
Masha (Kcenya's sister), Masha, Kcenya, and Marina on the boat back across the Volga after a ward picnic.
I LOVE these guys!!!!
I actually was sent this picture while I was in Saratov, but hey, its all Samara people ;)  I wish I could have been there.  Another fabulous ward picnic spiced up by some imaginative fun by Kcenya and Marina.
This is right outside Valya's house, taken right after her parents had consented to let her be baptised.  Valya was a golden.  She was a friend of Masha's from school (see girl in white jacket in the boat pic)  Pashina and I were priviledged to help her into the Church.
Tanya's baptism. She is a friend of Marina's (far laft)  I taught her with Sisters Yakovleva and Pashina.
Valya with her mom on the banks of the Volga, just before she was baptised.
