Monsoon Diary July 11 The start of the season I had been keeping track as best I could over the last week, but work had kept me from any website updates. The sky was full of clouds, and I could see storms building all over the place. There were severe t-storm and flash flood watches from about noon on. I got home from work at 1:50pm, and here is where we start. These storms came from the W and NW, so they did not have a true AZ monsoon flow feeding them. Had they come in from the SE it would be a whole different story. At this point I was so busy taking pictures and looking at the satellite imagery that I stopped taking down current conditions. click on thumbnail for a larger image |
