Galloway's comments on London bombings that Londoners had paid the price for Tony Blair's policy in Iraq and Afghanistan called "disgraceful" by minister Ingram.
Some questions with obvious answers:
* Will Bush / Blair insist on regime change in Leeds / UK since the city was harbouring terrorists ?
* Or unlike Iraq (which didn't harbour terrorists anyway ) / Afghanistan, will they find a scapegoat other than a state responsible e.g. religion / race ?
* Will Blair admit in public that since he & Bush invaded Iraq in '03, that their actions have created 100's of terrorist suicide bombers in that country and now they are being created in the UK, 2 countries in which they never existed before ?
* Will Bush / Blair / Bertie use the London bombings as a "cause or effect" of the war on terror ?
* Will Bertie & Co. review their decision to use Shannon civilian airport to transit 10,000 soldiers a month ?
* Would the Londoners & other Britons in the UK electorate still re-elect Blair to represent them ?
* Will the Irish electorate voteoutFFPD in the 2007 elections ?
* 27, mostly children, including 1 US soldier killed by suicide bomber in Iraq. No reaction from Bertie.
July 12 US feels threatened by "Londonistan". Bush quotes the London attacks as renewed justification / a "cause" of the war on terror. No surprises !
July 11 John Stevens, police chief criticised by then home secretary David Blunkett for saying a terrorist attack on London was inevitable.
July 10 At least 50 killed in 6 suicide bomber attacks in Iraq. No reaction from Bertie. UK troops in Iraq could be reduced from 8,500 to 3,000.
July 9 Former UK labour minister states in the Guardian that the war on terror is failing because al-Qaida is not state sponsored, so destroying states will not stop it.
July 8 Berties reacts with "sorrow & regret" to London bombings.
July 7 At least 38 killed in 4 London suicide bomber attacks. Rises to over 50 later.
Blair states "We will not be intimidated".
June 29 Bush says "Is the sacrifice (of > 1,700 US soldiers) worth it? It is worth it, and it is vital to the future security of our country,"
"...poll this week found for the first time that by a margin of 50 percent to 47 percent, Americans see the war in Iraq as separate from the war on terrorism. "
Bush still sees Iraq as bin Laden country and a major part of the war on terror.
Bush jokes about the WMD (4MB QT file). FFPD signed Shannon airport etc. over to the US military in the quest for these same WMD.
2005 June 18 Ethiopian elections (May 15) result: Pro-Iraq-war EPRDF holds on to power. 22 killed, 100 wounded & more than 500 arrested after banned protests that vote-rigging & inimidation were used against the opposition CUD.

Hopefully the May 15 Ethiopian elections will see that other member government of the coalition of the willing kicked out.

2005 Mar 26 - 6,000 in Iraqi prison (all imprisoned after due process I'm sure) try to escape through 600 ft long tunnel. 131 "suspected" insurgents arrested in dawn raids. 2 US soldiers killed today.

2004 Nov 19 - Bertie Ahern talks of 10 yrs as leader of Fianna Fail. Domestic issues only. Caller complains to the interviewer Eamon Dunphy on Newstalk 106's breakfast show that no questions about the war on Iraq or Shannon's part in it was asked. Eamon explains that to get the interview in the first place, an agenda that stuck to the 10 yr issue had to be agreed ! As in the "Faulty Towers" German tourist episode just "Don't mention the war !!!" Ignore it and it might just go away..

100,000 troops through Shannon this year so far. Dept. of transport documents show taxpayers will pay €5,851,000 between Jan '03 & Dec '04 to the Irish Aviation Authority since the government decided to exempt foreign military aircraft from the fees commercial aircraft pay. Will the PDs now reverse their pro-war stance since it's bad for the economy ?
Nov 2 - Bush wins US presidential election. War monger gets mandate of US electorate to continue "regime change", cluster bombing, installing puppet regimes etc. 59 million US republican voters have decided that the ~6 billion citizens of the rest of the world may be invaded at the sole discretion of the US, for imaginary WMD etc. World democracy in action ?
