Lavendar Dream
I drew a lavender dream
a pool of essence difficult to grasp
The water cascaded around me as I slipped…
slipped quietly away into the scapes of the night.
The waves like oceans overcame me as I gazed upon those who danced
dangerously in their amusement
And still I encouraged further on
following
Dancing ever nearer to that murmuring serenity
the drops splashed in sweet redemption
upon my face
and beads of sweat fashioned on yours.
In the drawing back of the curtains a cool wind blew
playing upon the skin as a soft caress
rushing across my flesh. The waters cleansed in
the same hue as the warm fabric upon which you shifted
murmering gently into the breeze
