This hockey event is scheduled  for March 17th to March 20th 2005,and will take place in the municipality of Industrial Cape Breton,Nova Scotia,Canada. This year we had 152 teams participate in 24 divisions as follows:         : 13 old timers divisions-35 & over from A to M competitive & non competitive         : 3   old timers divisions-45 & over A,B,C,top teams in A,weaker teams in C         : 2   old timers divisions-50 & over - top teams in A,weaker teams in B         : 2   Ladies divisions     -19 & over - top teams in A,weaker teams in B         : 1 Law enforcement division for RCMP,Police & Correctional officers 19 & over         : 1 Firefighters division for only fire departments. (19 & over)         : 1 health Care division for anyone working in health care. (25 & over)         : 1 Old timers division for players 60 yrs of age and older.

Note Due to shortages of goal tenders ,we are allowing the following divisions to have goalies 5 yrs younger than the team standard. Divisions 35 & over,45 & over, 50 & over. (Example - Division 35 & over - Goalie may be of age 30 ,no younger) etc.  Also there is free shuttle service for teams that fly into Sydney N.S. or NF teams that cross on the Marine Atlantic Ferry.

Entrance Fee

The entrance fee is $550.00 per team. Your first payment, a non- refundable deposit of $275.00 must be received no later than January 10 th 2005,with your final payment on febrary 10 th 2005 with your team roster. This will be final, no butts, no excuses. If on february 10th (example) ,we have 100 teams,then we rent the necessary ice time & make our schedule for march...You're either in or not. Again in 2005 it will be first come first served. We strongly suggest that you send your deposit as soon as possible. You are automaticaly in the tournament with your first deposit. If any teams that played in previous tournaments do not respond before the deadline,we will assume you are not coming.         Once your team has been accepted,you will be notified,and we will discuss where your team will be put in the appropriate division. We will do our best to have your team placed in the correct division so you will be closely on par with the teams in that division.
