My Little Rainbow My little rainbow is prettier than the one Spanning across the horizon from time immemorial. My beautiful rainbow can spread mirth Brighter than the brightest star Can shine in a day. My pretty rainbow can shed tears Saltier than the oceans Across the continents. My lovable rainbow is a pole star Pointing to the holiest direction across the heavens. His words now possess My body and my soul I feel so happy Uttering, thinking Reminiscing, reading His words, His deeds And I despair no more For He is with me Forever and ever. My colorful rainbow is so happy For I attend every Sunday Rain or shine, ever since. 6/9/01 |

Life is a pendulum
On a recent trip back from India
Long lonely sojourn of countless hours
Cooped in a window seat
Finding everyone in their own brooding well.
I realized that I was coming from GMT +5
And going to my sweet home at GMT -5
Wonderfully like the pendulum
Keeping us reminded the inimitable way.
Of things natural presented in our daily life
Or like the sinusoidal pattern or the bell curve
As the physicist or mathematician may say
simply said, life is one of hourly cycles.
The only question then I ask myself
Have I prayed to my Lord today?
...prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised (Psalm 72:15) |
