There have been some recent improvements and upgrades in the Centre, and while all the changes I wanted are not yet in place, I hope they will be soon.
For Mac users, there is a new iMac. The username is mac and the password tcmac. Please use it and report back to me if you have any problems or suggestions.
Both Word and WordPerfect are now on the PCs, and there should be
appropriate icons on the desktops. Netscape has been added as a Web
browser. Both Explorer and Netscape should have a default homepage relating to theology and the Internet. Please explore them.
Bible Windows has been put on the server, and should be accessible from all PCs except one. There still appear to be problems with at least one other as well. The Hebrew Aramaic Lexicon has been put on two PCs, though it doesn't appear to be the latest edition. I hope to have that remedied soon.
Gottwald's "The Hebrew Bible" is on two other PCs, though there may be
accessibility problems that I need to check with Jim Lindenberger about.
The Presbyterian "Book of Forms" and the General Assembly "Acts and
proceedings" should also be available soon.
VST01, the PC connected to the scanner, has major problems and may need to be replaced; in the meantime use it with caution.
Please let me know of any problems or suggestions. I hope we will soon have a contract for maintenance so that we can deal with issues as they arise.
