In Transition

Autumn days revered by the heart
With peace, and solace and joy
For the crisp and invigorating gusts
Excite the soul to happiness.
The wind in turn removes the leaves that
Let you breath of the earth.
The sun keeps a slant to itself so
The sky will illuminate its grandiose clouds
with mellow blues and subtle hues of
Lavender seeping through deep white.
There is autumn in the air that surrounds me;
The untouchable, life-giving air
Of Life's cycles.
Things of Fall re-lease their hold
To the earth and all its being!
