This was the message Sarah received from Lettie via e-mail:

I am glad that you're coming my extended family!!

Date:  September 22
Time:  2-5 pm
Place:  the Union Institute and University
Metro bus #33
Phone:  861.6400

Congratulations, Lettie!!!...We are SO PROUD of you!
Thank you for inviting us to your graduation.

Cecelia shared a critique she wrote after having seen a pre-opening production of Romeo and Juliet at the Shakespeare Theatre downtown. Cecelia's brother Mike was playing Juliet's father in the production.

The critique was written in period language and very much in the Spirit of Shakespeare; a wonderfully creative, fun and informative piece in a much different format than one usually expects from an art and theatre critic. It captured all of us, and C asked for help with a few wordings. Ron English came up with just the right word for the concept she was trying to convey. Hope to see more of these, C...:-)

Cecelia also infomed us that these pre-opening productions are free, and that she will let us know when they are in the future.

Sarah shared her most recent computer generated graphics, and explained that she feels very connected to this art form and is having lots of fun with it. Cecelia really liked a piece called Ancient Reflection, and said she thinks "you've found your medium".  Sarah gave her the copy and was very touched that C liked it that much...

Sarah made an announcement that the CRI sale is in the first week in December. Jenny Bauer will call when she knows the exact date. Group members interested, should be watching the website for further information, or call Recovery Initiative to find out when to take your work to CRI.

The meeting was adjourned.

respectfully submitted, Sarah Gallant
