| Vulcan’s Forge Steering Committee Minutes April 18th, 2002 Present: Carolyn Hickey, Patty Lawson, Dennis Sweeney, Ron Davis, Sarah Gallant Carolyn Hickey gave the treasurers report : there is No Change; no activity in Vulcan’s Forge’s account since last meeting. Sarah presented 4 estimates on packaging and mailing the art for the global art project. Members present reviewed the information. We voted on fund appropriation for this mailing. A unanimous YES in favor of spending the money to package and send the art work. Patty and Carolyn discussed the coffee and the bakery goods for the Craft and Bake sale at Central Clinic. Each of them will try to get donations. Both Patty and Sarah will request a check from Carolyn to pay for the packaging/mailing, and food supplies respectively. Patty alerted members about the Waynesville Call for art. The deadline is May 1st. We will not do this as a group due to the distance in miles that Waynesville is from us, and also because the deadline is almost here. Individuals were given the information in case they might want to participate on their own. Sarah said she will do the steering committee minutes and agenda. She will not do the general meeting minutes too. If there is no one that feels they can do them now, then we won’t have any general meeting minutes. Ron is excited about the meeting he attended at Recovery Initiative. 'Regulars' will be attempting to co-ordinate and better organize the groups affiliated with Consumer Network/Recovery Initiative.
