Homo Erectus

The Homo erectus were one of the first forms of early man. Homo erectus is also known as the "upright man." He is ann extincted hominid species. Also, they were the first to be classified as hunter preditor rather than being prey for larger animals. they lived from about 1.6 million to 250,000 years ago.           Homo erectus remains have been found in the countries of Africia, Asia, Indonesia, and Europe. these remains have told scientests   about most of their physical features . Their height was around 1.3-1.7 meters tall. the skull was flat and thick with a large occipital and brow ridge wit ha braqincase with the size orf 850-1000cc.Lastly , the jaws were robust and the teeth were smaller than the early species of man. They were also one of the first to control fire because the ir great understanding  of the envirnment. With their knowledge they were able to create diverse tools. All of the tools that found at the archeological sites were made of chipped stone like flint. the were found in Aisia and Africia.
