There are many interesting facts that are unknown about early man's religion. Early man belived in shamans, men who made medicine. Shamans were also known as medicine men. There were different rellgions each tribe followed, including rites and rituals. Rites were usually religuos ceremony.      One intrusting fact about early man's religion was that anyone could become a shaman. Shamans shouted and ate drugs to proove their power. The drugs probably came from tree bark. They used visions to see needed events. Some of the tribes believed in gods. Usally gods were trees, animal's or rock.some tribes believed that when a person died, they died for a reason. After someone dies, some tribes put special items like food and tools in the grave. They did this to respect the gods. Shamans sometimes performed rites and rituals to respect the god. Rites and rituals were usually performed when someone died or was born. They performed rites when someone was married ofr a boy became a hunter. One of the religious sites was found in China. Another was found in France. They found skulls in Placard Cave France. .
