Homecoming
Pictured: Jeff & John
Those of you who joined a Fraternity, Sorority or other college social club know that homecoming is a little bigger deal than for the general student population. Such is the case at my alma mater where it's the one time of year when you get to see old faces, not just from your own group, but others as well. The day of homecoming we usually start in around 8:00 in the morning "getting ready" for the parade which starts at 10:30. Starting that early means you're in for a long day and need to pace yourself, else you'll be napping by the time 2:00 pm rolls around. This year we had pretty good number of guys come back and we probably had the largest lawn party ever. The police did stop by, but not for noise or the drinking, they were more concerned with people on the sidewalk! Later in the evening we have a semi-formal dinner, this year at a Country Club, but I didn't make it because I was really tired, no not from the drinking either.
