Random Samples
Welcome to Beautiful San Antonio
I was in San Antonio for a sales meeting back in February and
I figured I would start of Random Samples with some stories
and pictures from there. This is the first time I
had been to Texas so I was excited 'cause I'm really into authentic
bar-b-que and Shiner Bock beer. While we were there, we ate a place called "Rudy's Worst Bar-B-Que
in Texas" in Leon Springs and it was awesome. You walk in, they have troughs with ice and Shiner in them,
I was in heaven.
Coming from Wisconsin in February,
the weather in Texas was perfect, high 70s, low 80s everyday and no rain(or snow).
We spent the week at Tapatio Springs, a golf resort about a half hour
out of San Antonio. They had everything you could want right on site, a very hip place.
The surrounding hill country was very pretty, click on the pictures below to see what I mean.
Our first few days we had meeting, then later our afternoons were open for golf.
Now, I'm not any good at golf, but I almost had a hole-in-one. I missed it by a
foot and a half! On our last day we got into San Antonio and checked out the sites.
They had your basic Planet Hollywood and Hard Rock which I skipped
and a lot of other cool restaurants and shops on the Riverwalk. We stopped at the
Alamo and I was suprised at how small it was, I guess I was expecting something
a lot bigger.
