Raised: in Windsor, then outside the nearby town of Harrow, at *Poplar Bluff* on Lake Erie's north shore.
Resides: Guelph, Ontario, an hour West of Toronto.
Daily ritual: walking along the *Eramosa River*, then coming home to write.
Favourite place: the cottage at *Lake Fletcher*.
Vocation: freelance writer, naturalist, poet.
Children: *two daughters*.
Orientation: gay.
Relationship status: single.
