Thailand is a tropical country, and therefore the climate and abundance of sunlight results in many varieties of plants with beautiful flowers, such as the poppy plant (left photo).  In fact, the poppy plant is famous for its opium and it could be found in a few tourist attractions in Northern Thailand.
