A good movie that my wife just raves about with a car full of kids in what appears to be a Red Thing with a white bumper.  This video link has several options to view the movie.  If you are looking for the good quality one (as of 11-22-08) choose the one that is broken into 10 parts.  The Thing is only visable in this movie for a matter of a few seconds.

Dazed and Confused

I was told that there are several Thing's in the background in this movie, but since I have not seen this movie before, I cannot locate them in my random bouncing around in this movie.  If you know where they exactly are, send me an e-mail at vwthingworld@yahoo.com and let me know. This movie starts off with Sandra Bullock doing a drinving test with Tim Conway and then getting the police chasing her.  It is a really cool opening scene featuring a Sunshie Yellow VW Thing.
