THE SECOND AMENDMENT              IS YOUR RIGHT AND                 RESPONSIBILITY

THE SECOND AMENDMENT IS THE RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS.  I AM A FIRM BELIEVER THAT MEN AND WOMEN HAVE THE RIGHT TO PROTECT THEMSEVES AND THEIR HOMES.  IT IS YOUR RESPOSIBILITY TO HELP KEEP THIS ADMENDMENT BY SUPPORTING GROUPS LIKE THE NRA SO THAT WE DO NOT HAVE THAT RIGHT TAKEN AWAY FROM US.

I know that some of you would say that guns should be taken away, to save our children.  But even if the guns are taken that will not save our children, nor our homes from being robbed, nor women from being raped,  nor will it make everything all better like the government would have you believe.                           Knives are weapons and kill more people than guns, baseballbats can be considered weapons, and our own bathroom.  Driving a car down the street can kill you or your child.  Are we going to take knives out of the kitchen?  Are we going to stop playing baseball?  No of course not.  Are you not going to take a shower or drive down the street?  I think that would be a bit rediculous.  A gun cannot do anything on it's own.  Someone has to pull the trigger.          If we enforce stronger laws against criminals and prosecute them as they should be rather then allowing them privilages, only then can  we  take care of the  violence and problems we have today.  To deny a law abiding citizent his or her right to own a firearm, to hunt, the right to protect their home, and family is wrong.  To not allow a citizen to own a gun who has not commited a crime is wrong.  Our founding fathers knew what they were doing when they created the Admendments and the Bill of Rights.  The Consitiution is now being laughed at.  These are the things that made this country great and our government wants us to forget them.                      This country was based on freedoms.   Some freedoms we may not like, but those are the price of freedom.  The right to choose, the right to protect yourself from your government becoming a tyranny if that occurs, and mostly the right to live in a country where we are able to speak our minds.  To have those freedoms we must all fight for them constantly or we will forget them and allow our government to do just that.  If we let our government become our parent, we will lose the freedom that made this country great.         I ask you to support those freedoms and ask your government to punish criminals.  Not innocent people.  Fight for the victims and families of victims of crime.  Criminals would love the fact that the government wants to take these rights away.  That makes it easier for them to hurt you and others.   Tell your Congressman, Mayor, Representatives, and government officials how you feel by voting and by letting them know you won't have your rights taken away.                                 Please help us fight for what is right and end the war against the government trying to take the rights of decent people.  Protect your freedoms.  You are the only one who can make a difference by doing something about this.  Thank You.
