When I watched the first disc, I thought Oh My God, what did I get myself into? Because the first disc talks about Guang Xi's (Huang Xiang Yi) parents and You's (Ken Zhu) parents.
Guang Xi's parents wants to get a divorce. You's parents wants to get a divorce. Guang Xi's mother wants to be with You's father. You's mother wants to be with Guang Xi's father.
The parents decide to have a family meeting to discuss about their plans of divorcing and switching partners with Guang Xi and You. This is the first time that Guang Xi meets You and his parents, and vice versa.
The reason why I did not like the first disc is because the parents acting is totally exaggerated almost like cartoon characters. Then I moved onto the 2nd disc which got much better, the storyline starts to focus more on Guang Xi, You and their classmates.
Guang Xi at first likes her tennis buddy Yin Tai. One day in the classroom she drops a love letter she has written to Yin Tai. Someone picks up the letter and gives it to Yin Tai. Yin Tai reads it out loud for everyone to hear and Guang Xi is embarrassed by this.
Yin Tai tells her that they are friends and this upsets Guang Xi. Guang Xi and You, at first did not get along too well, as time progresses, they both start to have feelings for each other. While this is happening, this is the time when Yin Tai had cut his long hair and tells Guang Xi that he like her.
Guang Xi ends up in a love triangle between Yin Tai and You. Min Zi is Guang Xi's best friend. Min Zi falls in love with the teacher and they start to have a relationship. They are very careful and discreet, trying to not let anyone know about their secret affair, but one day someone discovers their relationship and all hell breaks loose.
Wu Shi is a fellow student who is kind hearted and a good friend of You. Wu Shi likes Min Zi and wants to have a relationship with her. But she cannot forget about the teacher, she is deeply in love with the teacher. After so much chasing between Yin Tai and You for the love and affection of Guang Xi, she chooses You.
Guang Xi and You try very hard to hide their new found love relationship from their parents (both sets of parents switched partners, re-married and ALL live in the same house with Guang Xi and You).
Guang Xi and You will sneak around and kiss, making sure that no parents are around to spot them. During this time, You thinks that his father is not his real birth father and goes around trying to find him.
Then one day, You thinks he is Guang Xi's half brother because he discovers a very old photo of his mother with Guang Xi's father when they were young.
Yikes! Whoa! Oh My God! You hasn't asked his parents to clarify who his real birth father is. You breaks up with Guang Xi and transfers to another school. But You still has very deep strong feelings for Guang Xi and Guang Xi is still in love with You.
You tries very hard to shake Guang Xi off, by pretending to have a girlfriend. Guang Xi's friends help her to find a new boyfriend.
Will You and Guang Xi meet again? Who is You's real birth father? You have to watch this series Orange Jam Boy to find out.
I was very surprised by how talented Ken Zhu is and found his performance a delight. Huang Xiang Yi is very funny in her role as Guang Xi, she made me laugh throughout the whole time.
Sometimes her facial expressions exudes that of a comic book character, very funny and pleasant. I am very happy that this series has several happy endings for many of the characters.
