Last shop updates before completely painted and exterior assembled. 7/21/2004

Hood will have inverted stripe but that is the easiest way to tape off the stripes and reduce over spray. That is what the blue and white stripe represent in this picture. The white stripe will have paper and regular masking tape applied to keep the black center.

Same thing on the trunk. Striped off the pinstripe so less would have to be covered before the red is applied. We bolted it to the car so the stripes would line up and then removed it to paint on the red and clear.

Last picture here before the car should be done at this shop later this week. I laid out the body stripes after wet sanding the clear with 2000 grit. I don't know how well you can see it but the fender and door are considerably duller than the rest of the car.
