Guys, if you are contemplating this level of restoration you may consider finding some NOS quarters. I have spent a lot of time on these quarters and now the body man is saying the stamp that made these Year One quarters is crap. A lot of waves and imperfections on the surface of these panels may justify buying NOS for the money. |

When block sanding a project of this magnitude you will notice the black epoxy primer start to come through the gray primer. That is a high spot in the panel. You can see how many high spots those rear quarters have. |

This is the factory door that was kinked back in the accident that sent this beast to the bone yard. Those lines are really coming together. For 30 year old tools that made these panels I think it is looking good. |
