This is the car that started my obsession with Oldsmobile. I did the modification of this Hurst Areo kit. I smoothed all the lines and fiberglassed it all in. I then sent it to a painter that painted it black with a voilet pearl. It had ghost scallops that I never saw... This is the first car I ever took all the way apart. The reason for this, I was showing the car at local shows. Mostly a factory car with this Areo kit installed. At a car show in Cullman Alabama a nice Oldsmobile owner made the comment "yea you can park next to mine and make mine look better". He had a 65ish Olds Cutlass. I was young and didn't get the sarcasm right away. Anyway I tore the car apart and cleaned and painted everything. Man I wish I had those Einkies back.... |
