The following information on this page walks you through the title history of the -W4-. If you see these < > next to a name then that means that wrestler has been a multiple time winner of that title. The number that appears inside those brackets is how many times that person has won that certain title. Dates that are explained as (Records Unknown) happen to be back in the Elijah Alexander era of the -W4- and thus there are no archives or official statements that would confirm any dates therein. Any names that are followed with a * or numerous * 's or even * and a number, are title reigns that were won by that person but they didn't take the title from the previous title owner in an one on one matchup. All * are followed by a corresponding description of how that title changed hands to the owner with the * by their name, below that titles section. Please note that there is a section below the current titles in the federation entitled "Special Titles". That special title section has only titles that aren't regularly defended like the titles above them and they don't fall under any of the same rules that the normal titles may carry. And beneath the "Special Titles" section is a section entitled "Retired Titles". Note that these titles were once amongst the titles in the -W4- and for one reason or another they have been discontinued and are no longer defended or sanctioned by the -W4-. If anyone finds error in this list please send an email to the staff.

*9 Izzy G was forced to leave the W4 due to family emergency, so he forfeited the title to President Ramierez. The President, quickly declared a battle royal to take place and crown a new champion.
*8 Commish Alex Cole, acting for President Jesse Rameirez (who had been possesed by Champion Michael Graves) stripped "The Fallen One" of the World Heavyweight Title after both he and Jesse Rameriez disappeared. He then ordered the four top contenders, Shawn Stevens, Johnny Hawke, Drago, and Johnny Critical to battle in the first ever 4 Man "Iron Man Match" at the Rising Heat PPV, which took place on August 29th. Stevens won the match, with some last minute help by Wolfgang Defectors Wayne Harrison and Kirk Visconty, and was crowned World Champion.
* 7 At the War of The Ages 2000, Michael "The Fallen One" Graves became a four time World Heavyweight Champion. The match was a two fall match between "Franchise" Johnny Hawke vs. Michael "The Fallen One" Graves (Triple Crown Champ going into it) vs. Drago (World Champ going into it). The first fall would award you with the Triple Crown Title, which Johnny Hawke won that fall and became the new Triple Crown Champ. And the second fall would win you the World Heavyweight Title, in which Michael Graves won and became the new World Heavyweight Champion.
****** Drago finally became the -W4-'s World Heavyweight Champion at the April Duels 2000 PPV. The match was "Franchise" Johnny Hawke vs. Drago vs. Kurt "The Shocker" Laye (who was the champion going into it) and the match had Prez Jesse Ramirez as the special guest referee. After a long grueling match, and a few run ins, both Hawke and Drago were Layed out. Then something shocking happened, Kurt Laye pulled Drago onto Hawke's limp body for the win. But Ramirez wouldn't count the pin because he was disgusted with the choice that Laye was making. A second referee had to come in and count the 1...2...3..giving Drago the World Title. After the match Drago and Ramirez shocked the world by revealing that they were together in The Elite. A previous set stipulations made by Laye and Drago, was that if Laye lost for any reason other then being beaten fairly that Drago would have to give Laye the US title. So Kurt Laye became a 3 time US champ at the same time. And another stipulations was that if Hawke didn't win, that he would have to wait 90 days till he gets another shot at the World Title.
***** All of the crazy things Lupin has done finally left it's mark. When he re-aggravated a previous back injury, Lupin was forced to have surgery and to drop the World Title. So the title was then vacant and Lupin had his surgery. But this wouldn't keep Lupin out long, he went against his doctors wishes and he returned to action way before his doctor thought possible. But this still left the World Title vacant, so the W4 officials set up a mini tournament of the W4's top stars to determine who would claim the title. Kurt "The Shocker" Laye won a previous number one contender match so he was awarded a pass in the tournament to the final round at the Leap of Faith PPV. The final round in the tournament came down to a 3-way dance for the vacant title. The match was Johnny Critical vs. "The Pied Piper" Kirk Visconty vs. Kurt "The Shocker" Laye. After a great matchup the result was final, Kurt "The Shocker" Laye was the new W4 World Heavyweight Champion.
**** Armageddon wins the final match of the Unholy Alliance Tournament against his partner "Pied Piper" Kurt Visconty to claim the vacant World Title after Destroyah dropped the title.
*** Destroyah gives up the World title and challenges the six top contenders to a match. He wins the Six Pack Challenge and reclaims the title for the second time. He then immediately leaves the federation, giving up his belt.
** Bishop wins the title in a 4-way Heaven Cellar Match. It was Destroyah vs. Bishop vs. Michael Graves vs. Razor (Who was the champion at the time). The match also featured "Franchise" Johnny Hawke as the special guest referee.
* The Answer became the -W4-'s very first World Heavyweight Champion after being victorious in a 3-way dance which was Vic Violence vs. The Answer vs. Skeleton Jack.

*12 Demise defended the US Title in a three way dance against Lupin and "The Shocker" Kurt Laye. Before the match, Demise stated he would only be out there to officiate the match, and after a brutal encounter, Lupin caputred the US Title. 1 Week Later on Rage, Lupin brought out the retired Intercontintal Title, and the US Title, and claimed he was merging them into the North American Title. This is some disagreement on if the W4 officially recongizes this act, but they have been advertising him as the North American Champion.
* 11 A special stipulation set in the World Title Match at April Duels 2000, was that if Kurt Laye lost his World Title in a way other then being beaten fairly, that Drago would have to give Laye the US title. Well Laye dragged Drago onto Hawke's body in the 3 way for the win. In result Kurt "The Shocker" Laye became the United States Champion and Drago became the new World Champion.
* 10 Drago became the first ever 3-time United States Champion at the Leap of Faith PPV in February. The match was Drago vs. Rampage vs. Bruce "The Flesh" Hammer (Who was the champion going into it) in a NO DQ falls count anywhere matchup.
* 9 Bruce "The Flesh" Hammer captured the United States Title in a 3-way dance. The match was Bruce Hammer vs. Bishop vs. Kurt "The Shocker" Laye (Who was champion at the time).
* 8 Kurt "The Shocker" Laye won the U.S. Title for the second time when he was the winner of a 3-way dance. The match was Johnny Critical vs. Kurt Laye vs. Rampage (Who was champion at the time).
* 7 Kurt "The Shocker" Laye won the belt in result of Johnny Hawke being suspended from the match that was scheduled between the two as they were to battle for the vacant title. The title was vacated when "The Skinner" Samuel Haight also known as Scorponok retired from the -W4-. Hawke was suspended due to indifferences with the President Buck Zumoff.
****** After Cain vacated the title to take a leave from the -W4-, a match was set for the Total Madness Pay Per View. The match was Pimp C vs. The Bayou Brawler vs. Drago vs. Armageddon with Armageddon coming out the winner of the vacant U.S. Title.
***** Both Cain and Shawn Stevens came to an agreement during a press conference to trade the U.S. Title for the Intercontinental Title. The request of this trade was made by Stevens who was the United States Champion at the time. Stevens swapped the U.S. Title to Cain for the Intercontinental Championship.
**** Back when Shawn Stevens went by "The Showstopper" he won the United States Title in a 3-way at The War of Ages Pay Per View. The match was Stevens vs. Kage vs. Armageddon (Who was the champion at the time).
*** Johnny Hawke loses a "belt vs. belt" match while defending the World Title against Michael Graves.. He receives the US Title as a result of the match stipulations.
** The Hangman won the United States Title after going through and winning a tournament for the vacant U.S. Title. The United States Title was vacated when Michael "The Fallen One" Graves defeated The Answer for the World Heavyweight Championship. In result the -W4- staff declared the U.S. Title vacant due to the rules of holding two single's titles.
* Michael "The Fallen One" Graves became the -W4-'s first ever United States Champion when he was the winner of a 3-way dance. The match was King Marvel vs. Remiel vs. Michael Graves.

*15 The Tag Team titles were put on the line at the Rising Heat PPV, in the first ever Junkyard Match, in which the first team to escape with the Tag Team Titles was declared the winner. Tainted Hatred, The Reborn, the High Flyas (represented by Kefka and twin sister Pyretta Blaze), and Destruction Inc battled in the match, which ended in Blaze and Kross escaping with the titles. Due to the controversy, the titles were held up, pending the outcome of a match between the High Flyas and Destruction Inc. Hunter and Kross retired from the W4, giving the front office no choice but to award the titles to the High Flyas on the September 12 edition of Rage. They accepted the titles, but El Dio turned on his partner that same night. So Kefka gave the titles to the most deserving contenders, the Reborn, which they accepted officially on the September 19 edition of Rage.
*14 DJ Lights Out was injured in a ladder match, and Kefka chose El Dio as his new partner, and they became known as the High Flyas.
* 13 The Johnny's were set to get a shot at the tag titles against the team of Silent Suicide in a rematch. Prior to the event Hawke and Critical were having problems. Critical was upset with Hawke for making the 2 on 1 tag title defense in which he lost the straps for The Johnnys to Silent Suicide. And with the tension in the relationship between the Johnnys, many questioned if they would be together much longer. Well when it came time for them to get the rematch against Silent Suicide, Johnny Hawke had a pre-recorded clip shown on the Megatron claiming that he was at home with his pregnant girlfriend Monica. And Hawke told Critical to see how it feels to go into it alone against Silent Suicide. So Hawke didn't show up for the match, and Silent Suicide came down for the defense. But the funny thing is, Drezial also no showed, making the match the first ever one on one tag title defense with Lupin defending both tag titles to Johnny Critical. Well in the middle of the match, Johnny Hawke proved that you can't ever trust the Shaded One as he dropped from the rafters on a zip line. Hawke knocked out both Lupin and Critical with a torque wrench and since the referee had been knocked out during the match he didn't see this happen. Then Hawke drug Critical's limp body onto Lupin's and he revived the ref to count the pin. Then Hawke draped the titles over Critical's body telling him he can shove them and that he was out of the Genocide. That left Johnny Critical without a stable but it also made him the sole owner of both of the World Tag Team Titles. Then at the King of Harts 2000, Prez Ramirez came down and was going to strip Critical of his titles. But the new Executive Vice President Greg Ashlin spoiled Ramirez's power trip party and he decided to give Critical another chance. He did this by signing Critical to defend the titles with or without a partner against the team of Sasquatch and The Stalker in an impromptu title match. Well the match went down and things were getting rough for Critical against both men, until Matt Brooks, who happens to be one of Critical's worst enemies, came down and stood in Critical's corner. Then Brooks helped Critical defend the tag titles and they both celebrated as if they were champions. But then started to fight over the titles, not wanting each other to have one since they are still enemies. Ramirez got his shots in by then making both Critical and Brooks the tag champions and they will have to learn to get along. Let's see how that goes...
* 12 On June 6, 2000, Silent Suicide defeated "Franchise" Johnny Hawke in 2 on 1 situation, due to the fact that Critical had prior commitments, to win their first ever W4 World Tag Team Championship reign.
*11 "Franchise" Johnny Hawke was scheduled to face The Elite in a special handicap match. Unless he could find a partner that wasn't a part of the Genocide. Johnny Critical, one of Hawke's biggest rivals, came down during the middle of the match and stood in Hawke's corner. He helped Hawke capture the gold. And then afterward he publically announced his alliance with the Genocide.
* 10 On Tuesday Night RAGE Cain & Abel were set to defend the tag straps against the team of The Elite, being Chad Crase and "The Pied Piper" Kirk Visconty. But to everyone's surprise Cain & Abel walked down to the ring and they dropped the tag team titles for unknown reasons. Cain also threw down his RAGE Television Title leaving the titles at the feet of The Elite and Prez Ramirez. Then Cain & Abel left without given reason of why they did drop the titles. Ramirez scooped up the titles and he gave them to The Elite who just happened to be in the stable that Ramirez was running with at the time.
* 9 The Malice Brothers, C.P. and J.D. became the -W4- World Tag Team Champions for the first time after a 3-way dance on March 21st's RAGE. The match was Mach 1 & The Boxer vs. The Malice Brothers vs. The Renegades (The champions going into the match).
* 8 Viper & Sasquatch became two time World Tag Teams when they came out the winners of a heated 3-way dance. The match was Viper & Sasquatch vs. Crimson Coursers, Kraven & Kodiak vs. Shrike & Impulse (Who were the champions going into that match).
* 7 During the Deadfall PPV, not one but two tag title matches were held. First it was The Soldiers of Fortune, who was originally Hunter & Warchild. But Warchild suffered an injury before the Pay Per View and Hunter was set to take on The Dazzlers with a mystery partner to fill in for Warchild. That mystery partner turned out to be the "Mystery" himself, Lupin. Hunter and Lupin successfully defeated the champions The Dazzlers. But before the smoke cleared and Shrike & Impulse appeared and demanded that Hunter and Lupin defend their titles right then and there. So Hunter & Lupin did but came up short losing the titles that they help in their hands for just a short few moments. Shrike and Impulse walked out of Deadfall as the new -W4- World Tag Team Champions.
****** The New Liberty were the hottest new sensation to sweep the -W4- at this time. It was Shane Garrett & Kurt "The Shocker" Laye that became tag champions after defeating the Triple xXx team. But then something happened in Garrett's career and he had to retire leaving Kurt Laye a lone tag champion. So Laye and Garrett decided to pass the titles onto their close friends and stable mates who later became the team known as The Dazzlers. The men that were to become the new tag champs were Drago and Rick "The Electrifier" Cortez. At first they kept the New Liberty name alive calling their team New Liberty after their stable and the previous champs.
***** When Uziel & Sliver went to defend their titles against Cain & Abel, Cain somehow didn't wrestle in that match but Destroyah took his place and he & Abel won the tag titles. Making Abel a 5 time tag champion, and since Destroyah was a member of The Triad which was Cain, Abel, and Destroyah. So the new tag champs were called The Triad and any member could defend the titles with the other.
**** Uziel & Sliver became tag champions at the King of Harts PPV. The match was a three way dance Uziel & Sliver vs. Cain & Abel vs. Viper & Sasquatch (Who were the champs at the time).
*** Cain & Abel became 4-time tag champions in a very controversial way at the May PPV entitled MayDay Massacre. It was originally set to be a 4-team free-for-all match, where two men would start out in the ring with the rest of the 6 men on the outside. And each wrestler can tag any man in but his own partner. The teams were to be Cain & Abel vs. Sasquatch & Viper vs. Bane & Distractor vs. ManDrake & Armageddon (Who were the champs going into that matchup). But then for personal reasons Cain & Abel announced that they were going on vacation prior to the match and everyone thought they weren't going to be in the match. So then it was the three remaining teams going into MayDay to go at it for the titles. Then after Sas & Viper came out and it was time for Bane & Distractor to make their entrance. Over the Mega-Tron Prez Ramirez announced that Bane & Distractor have been released from the -W4- for failing recent drug screenings. So then the match turned into a one team on one match for the titles, being Sasquatch & Viper vs. The Minion, ManDrake & Armageddon the champs. Just as the match was to begin the Mega-Tron came on again showing Cain & Abel. They said that you couldn't have a tag title match without them and that they're coming out. And they did, even though they were believed to be on vacation and not in the building. Cain & Abel entered the match with the other 2 teams and they pulled it off with ease.
** After Johnny Hawke captured the World Title against Skeleton Jack, he called out his stablemates. They were the current tag champions, Malice & Awesome. Cain & Abel made a surprising alliance with the Wolfgang and they assisted in Hawke's win over Jack and they were out there as well. For this Hawke announced that Cain & Abel were now in the Wolfgang, and he had Malice and Awesome give their tag titles to Cain & Abel.
* Cain & Abel became the first ever -W4- World Tag Team Champions when they defeated The Bonebreakers. Both teams battled it out for the yet-to-be claimed tag titles.

*13 Chris Titan, losing interest in the Rage Title, set up a tag team match in which the winner of the fall would become the Rage Champion with him and a mystery partner taking on Stoney Wilde and Rampage. Before the match, Titan came down and declared Jack Dagger the new Rage Champion, then left him for dead at the hands of Stoney and Page. Demise apppeared on the scene, and his interfernce gave a confused Jack Dagger the win and the title. God Help Us!!
*12 Alex Cole named Bishop the mystery opponent for Titan and he captured the title.
* 11 Bain became the RAGE Television Champion by winning a three way dance that was held in a cage at The War of The Ages 2000. The match was Bain vs. "Insane" Scotty Keech vs. X-Con (The champion going into the match).
* 10 At the Mayday Massacre 2000 there was a 20 man battle royal. The winner would face Kid X the current Rage Champion. Kobi Law won the rumble. Then won the title by tossing Kid X over the top rope.
* 9 Kid X won the Rage title on May 16, 2000 during an impromtu scramble match. Where the victor had to escape the ring and make it back to locker rooms with the title in hand to become the champion.
* 8 It was at the April Duels 2000 PPV where Cain became the new -RAGE- Television Champion. There was a tournament put on for the re-instated Intercontinental Title and Cain was part of that tournament. And the final round match ended up being Cain vs. Michael "The Fallen One" Graves vs. Lupin (who was the champion going into the match). The match was for both the Intercontinental Title and the -RAGE- Title in a two falls match. Well the match went on and in the end somehow Graves and Lupin made a double pin on Cain. So due to controversy the first fall was counted as both falls. The IC Title wasn't awarded then but Cain recieved the -RAGE- title in a way of default. Then Graves and Lupin were to face each other for the IC since they made the double pin. But that was changed and it ended up being a 3 way with Bishop and his Triple Crown Title. In one of the craziest matches to date, called the Extreme Ladder Match. Where a platform was suspended above the ring with the IC title on it. Then there was also a ladder on the platform that someone would have to climb to make it to the Triple Crown Title that was suspended from a wire high above the ring. But in order to get to the platform another ladder was needed.
* 7 Rampage became the -RAGE- champion as a result of forfeit. Pied Piper the champion at the time was to defend to Rampage. But at that time Pied Piper was kidnapped and missing in possession of Michael "The Fallen One" Graves. So when it came match time and Piper didn't show, Rampage was awarded the title due to the -RAGE- Television Title clause. Since the title must be defended at every -RAGE-.
****** "The Pied Piper" Kirk Visconty became the new -RAGE- Television Champion after a grueling 3-way dance at the Samhain PPV in 99'. The match was Mach 1 vs. "The Pied Piper" Kirk Visconty vs. Kurt "The Shocker" Laye (Who was the champ going into the match). Piper won and began a long reign as our -RAGE- Television Champion later to be named the -W4-'s greatest -RAGE- Champion at the first ever -W4- Award Show.
***** Hunter won a match that was setup for the vacant -RAGE- Television Title. The title was vacated by Skeleton Jack as you can read below. The match was an awesome 3-way No DQ ladder match for the vacant title. And the competitors were Hunter vs. Mach 1 vs. "The Pied Piper" Kirk Visconty for the vacant title with Hunter coming out the winner.
**** It was September 6th's -RAGE- when Dick Strong came out and made a quite different open challenge for his -RAGE- Television Title. He said that he hid a contract for the match against him for the title somewhere in the arena. And the first person to find that contract gets the title shot. Well after many wrestlers attempted to search the arena(they sent in strats trying to guess where it was. The guy that got it right got the shot) one man found it. And to everyone's surprise that man was none other then Skeleton Jack. Jack came out with the contract and said that he found it because he knew just where to look and that was where Dick Strong's mind is. And that's in the toilet, he found the contract hidden under the lid that goes over the back of the toilet in an executive office. So then Dick had to defend to Skeleton Jack, and Jack beat him becoming the new -RAGE- Television Champion. But immediately after that match, Skeleton Jack called the Prez down to the ring. Jack handed the title over to the Prez and said for a match to be setup for the title with two guys that have worked hard and deserve the shot. And then a match was set for that vacant title for the next -RAGE-. The match was Hunter vs. Mach 1 vs. "Pied Piper" Kirk Visconty in a No DQ ladder match for the vacated title. And as you can read above Hunter came out the winner of that one to become the new -RAGE- Television Champion.
*** As you can see below Mr. Extreme retired and the -RAGE- Title became vacant. Originally a match was set to be a 3-way dance in a standard cage match with Mach 1 vs. Kid X vs. Mr. Extreme, but Extreme retired prior to the match. So then the match went on to be Kid X vs. Mach 1 in a standard cage match for the vacant title. Mach 1 ended up winning that match to become the new -RAGE- Television Champion claiming the vacant title.
** Mr. Extreme added the -RAGE- Television Championship to his resume when he was successful in a 3-way dance at July 5, 1999 -RAGE-. The match was Dick "The Icon" Strong vs. Mr. Extreme vs. The Judge (Who was the current champion going into that match). Then Mr. Extreme retired and the -RAGE- Television title became vacant.
* Kid X won a random drawing to become the first ever -RAGE- Television Champion. The announcement was made through a press conference (roleplay board) by Prez Ramirez. The title was to be defended at every -RAGE- event and Kid X made his first defense May 10, 1999, the actual time of the drawing is unknown.

*7 Piper won the title in a three way dance against Rampage and El Dio. He won the World Title on Sept. 5, and was forced to vacate the title, so a match was set up between the two top contenders, Rampage and El Dio. Rampage won on September 14, 2000 on a edition of Thursday Thrash.
****** It was at the "King of Harts" PPV that a last man standing match, in the parking lot of all places, was ordered to fill the vacancy when Jack Hopkins vacated the Hardcore Title. This match featured a lot of new talent, and Hardcore Vetran, Hunter, was named the special guest referee for the match. Claiming the match was not "hardcore" enough for his standards, he grabbed the title, and went to take it to the only other "Hardcore" contender in the building, the returning "Hellraiser" Wayne Harrison. Harrison happened to be on one of his drinking binges, so Cheri Fields grabbed the title and spent the next month parading around as the Hardcore Champion, along with her "Hardcore Advisor" Wayne Harrison. She set up her Six Way Cage of Confusion at the War of Ages PPV, and El Dio, Asylum, and Kage won their qualifying matches to join Harrison, Hunter, and Johnny Critical, who were given buys into the finals by Cheri. In a wild match, in which wrestlers ran from different parts of the building to a cage around the ring...then had to climb in, grab the title, and climb out, the Hardcore Title lived up to its name. At the end, all the men were on top of the cage, battling for the title, when Cheri unleashed her "electrified cage" trick. The cage collapsed, and when the dust settled, El Dio was clutching the Hardcore Title, and though he was unconcious, was named the deserving winner.
***** Lupin was invited into one of Hellraiser's title defenses by the champion himself. And that is where Lupin became a two time Hardcore Champion. The match Hunter vs. Chad Crase vs. Adam Steele vs. Hellraiser (The Champion at the time). Not to mention it was a weapons match in a cage of all things. But Lupin ended up showing up to the match and winning the title. He was invited by the champ, craziness..
**** It was at Heatstroke 99' when Lupin captured the Hardcore title in a wicked 3-way Dance. After Scorponok was stripped of the Hardcore Title as you can read below, there was a hardcore tournament to decide who would wrestle at Heatstroke for the vacated title. It went on to be Harley D. Malice vs. Lupin vs. "The Hellraiser" Wayne Harrison. But Hellraiser only got there at the end since he was attacked and bludgeoned by Hunter & Destroyah before the PPV took place(a clip was shown on the MegaTron when the PPv kicked on). Lupin took care of Malice then he finished off an injured Hellraiser. He won the match and the Hardcore Championship. After the match a Megatron clip showed of an creative sighting and return of Skeleton Jack.
*** It was at The War of The Ages PPV in July when one of the most unforgettable matches took place. That is also where Scorponok became a 3-time -W4- Hardcore Champion. The match was set to be Thorn vs. Hunter vs. Octain vs. Harley D. Malice (Who was the champion going into it). But Octain didn't show up so it ended up being Thorn vs. Hunter vs. Harley Malice in an abandon bar that was just a few blocks away from the arena that the PPV was being held at. In the midst of one of the craziest displays known to the -W4-, we seen numerous people jump into the match including the debut of Lupin and the interference by Scorponok in which lead to him getting the win somehow when he wasn't even scheduled in the match. the next day the staff decided that it was against the rules to let Scorponok keep the title since he wasn't in the match. His name wasn't on the card and since it was for the title the rule had to be enforced. And Scorponok was stripped of the Hardcore Title as an announcement by the front office the next night. Had an official acknowledged the presence of Scorponok in that match the result might have been different like we seen in Scorponok's second hardcore title reign controversial win.
** Scorponok became a two time Hardcore Champion in a rather strange way. On June 12th's Saturday SLAM, Scorponok made a successful title defense against Dare Devil. Then after the match Scorponok left the title in the ring and he walked out of the arena. He vacated the title for unknown reasons and was rumored to be gone. But it was on June 17th's Thrash when Prez Ramirez setup a match for the title that Scorponok vacated. The match was Sasquatch vs. Adam Steele, but before the match the Megatron came on showing Scorponok talking to the referee before the ref walked out to the ring to the match. The scene showed Scorponok handing money to the ref. The clip was a pretaped scene and it was shown after the ref was out to the ring. In the middle of the match the gag was up when the ref grabbed an already beaten Steele and he slammed him down with a Mandible Claw Chokeslam which just happened to be Scorponok's finisher. The ref that started the match was in fact an unmasked Scorponok and he beat up the two unexpecting already worn down men. Then the ref that was seen on the MegaTron clip came down to fufill his end of the bargain when Scorponok pinned Adam Steele and the bribed ref counted the 1..2..3. To regain his title after vacating it just the weekend before.
* Razor became the first ever -W4- Hardcore Champion when he defeated a wrestler named Hardcore for the vacant yet-to-be claimed title.

*9 Dammine Frost took time off from the W4 to attend to family matters, so fellow stablemate GYON offered to defend here title for her until she returned. However, GYON had gotten into a fued with "The Hellraiser" Wayne Harrison, that had resulted in a best of three series between the two. President Jesse Rameriez put some special stipulatons on their "Cage of Death" match at the Total Madness PPV. The Winner would get a shot at the title of his choosing, and in addition, GYON would lose the Title if he lost the match. The Hellraiser came out on top, and threw the Cruiserweight Title in the Garbage, forcing Alex Cole to retreive the title and set up a tournament to crown a new champion.
* 8 At the King of Harts 2000 there was a 4 way elimination match scheduled for the #1 contendership to the Cruiserweight Title. Which was worn by Kamakaze who suffered with multiple injuries throughout his reign of champion, unabling him to defend the title. The way consisted of Zly Kref vs. Damienne Froste vs. Angel of Death vs. Dante. But before the match got underway, Kamakaze made his return and decided to put up his title in this match now making the match a 4 way for his title. He sat and commentated with the announcers as the 4 wrestlers battled hard for his title. Then in the end Dante was the winner but then he took off his mask revealing that he is really a man known as Chris Titan.
* 7 Just when everyone thought Drezial was going to carry the Cruiserweight Title for a long time on his second reign as champion, Drezial had a case of bad luck. Drezial suffered an injury that would make him have to sit out of action for some time. This in result would eventually lead him to be stripped of the title since he can't defend it. So Drezial made the decision to offer Abel, his new found friend and long time legendary cruiserweight, a chance at defending the title and becoming the new champion. Drezial trusted that Abel would accept his offer to pass the title to him and that he would defend it better then any other. The -W4- front office saw no problem with the title change but there would have to be a private meeting between Abel and Jesse Ramirez the current man in charge. The meeting took place on March 19th, 2000 (Over AOL IM) and Ramirez asked Abel if he was going to accept Drezial's offer. And in the end Abel said he would gladly become the new champion and that he would defend the title with pride and in the name of his fallen comrad Drezial.
****** As you can read below this description, Kid X had to vacate the Cruiserweight title after a match due to a stipulation. Then the title went vacant for a long stretch. Until a 10 man Cruiserweight Rumble was setup to crown a new -W4- Cruiserweight Champion. The rumble went down nicely and ended in a controversial manner. Both Jamie Ca and Lightning's feet touched down at the end of the rumble after they were the last two left. Due to uncertainty by the ring officials the scene was replayed and watched closely. The officials then ruled that in fact Lightning's feet touched down first making Jamie Ca the new Cruiserweight Champion.
***** Kid X became the Cruiserweight Champion at the Total Madness PPV in September of 1999. He later found himself feuding with the newly crowned Intercontinental Champion, Kage. Then a match was set and agreed upon by both men. It would be Kid X vs. Kage in a Heaven's Cellar cage match. And if Kid X won, he would become the Intercontinental Champion and he would have to vacate the Cruiserweight Championship, due to the rule on holding two single titles at once. And if Kage was to win, he'd continue being the IC Champion, but since he isn't in the Cruiserweight division, he wouldn't be able to claim that title. So Kage added a stip to the match that said if Kid X were to lose to him, he would have to drop the Cruiserweight title anyways. Kid X agreed on the stipulation and they had their match. Then come match time Graves and Bishop/ who was known as Knightmare at the time, came out and destroyed Kage before the match. They were getting revenge on Kage, for Knightmare who lost the IC Title to him at Total Madness. They then rolled Kage's limp and beaten body into the ring and Kid X put a foot on Kage's chest getting the easy, assisted 1...2...3.. victory to become the new Intercontinental Champion. So in return he had to drop the Cruiserweight Championship that night as it was enforced in the match stipulations. The title would then go on a long drought as a vacant -W4- Championship. See above for the next champion and the description of how the title was won.
**** It was at Heatstroke 99' when Alex/ Drezial was to defend his title in a 3 way dance. The match was set to be Jamie Ca vs. Johnny Stryder vs. Alex (The champ going into it). But as the match was to begin, Alex didn't show up. But word was passed on to the staff that he was vacating the Cruiserweight title to go on a personal leave. So the match was then Jamie Ca vs. Johnny Stryder for the vacated Cruiserweight title. It turned out to be a great match but in the end it was "Mr. Main Event" Johnny Stryder who came out on top. To become a 2 time Cruiserweight champion. When Alex did return, he returned as Drezial, who's well known in the -W4-.
*** It was at The King of Harts PPV where Scarface was set to defend his title against Dryst. Previous rumors went around saying that N-Sane would escape from the loony bin and get his revenge on both Dryst and Scarface. Those two were in the 3-way dance where N-Sane lost his title and Scarface became the champ. The match was ready to go and the low and behold N-Sane made his escape from the loony bin alright. And he came for the match making it a 3-way dance. N-Sane then won his title back as N-Sane. That would be the second time his N-Sane persona won the Cruiserweight Title. And Sabotage his other persona was champion once as well, making the man known as both N-Sane and Sabotage a 3 time Cruiserweight Champion.
** Scarface became the champion after he was victorious in a 3-way dance for the title. The match was Scarface vs. Dryst vs. Sabotage (The champion going into that match). It was when Sabotage hit his head on the ring stairs leaving Scarface alone in the ring with Dryst for the pin. But this is also when Sabotage turned back into his N-Sane persona, after hitting his head knocking himself unconscious he woke up as N-Sane. Then N-Sane went to the loony bin for awhile, see above for his return.
* Uziel became the -W4-'s first ever Cruiserweight Champion by defeating Lance Lightning in a match to see who would be the first champion.

*** At the War of The Ages 2000, Johnny Hawke became a two time Triple Crown Champion by winning the first fall of a two fall matchup. The match was "Franchise" Johnny Hawke vs. Michael "The Fallen One" Graves (Triple Crown Champion going into it) vs. Drago (The World Champion going into it). The winner of the first fall would win the Triple Crown as Johnny Hawke did. And the winner of the second fall would be awarded the World Heavyweight Title as The Fallen One did.
** Michael Graves became a 2 time Triple Crown Champion at April Duels 2000. In what may become the most controversial match in -W4- history. To really get a good idea of what all went down it's best to just read the results. It would take me a month to describe it all on this page. Just go to the archives and read the April Duels 4-30-00 results for further details.
* "Franchise" Johnny Hawke paraded around the -W4- claiming to be the Triple Crown Champion. It was a title that the -W4- had never sanctioned before and yet he still claimed he was the champion. After weeks of this, Hawke began asking for the title to become sanctioned by the -W4- and for a belt to be made for it. After much thought on the matter the -W4- staff decided to include the -W4- Championships with the presence of the Triple Crown Title. And they awarded the title to Hawke and he became the first ever Triple Crown Champion in the -W4-. The rules the staff set out for the title were as follows: the title only has to be defended at least at each PPV. And if a previous defense had been made for the title prior to the upcoming PPV of that month then it didn't have to be defended at the PPV. All title defenses are chosen by the current title holder, unless he refuses to choose. Then in that case the staff would make the best choice for a challenger for the next PPV. The title itself will win you 5 rank points when you become the champion. And only challengers that have had at least 3 title reigns in the -W4-, can contend for the Triple Crown Title. That means you must have at least 3 -W4- title reigns, it doesn't have to be 3 different titles. Just 3 title reigns altogether. And the last stipulation on the title is that no matter what, the title can only be defended in one on one competition. There will be no 3-way dances or etc... for the Triple Crown Title.

* 7 After The Pied Piper won the IC title from Shawn Stevens at the War of The Ages 2000 pay per view. President Jesse Ramirez came out and retired the title once again.
****** After Demise and Michael Graves burned Bishop on a cross in a church where he supposedly burned with the church. Prez Ramirez stripped Bishop of the IC Title since no one had heard from him for awhile and no one knew for sure if he made it out of the church before it was completely burnt up. After stripping Bishop, Ramirez made a 3 way Cafeteria Match with Matt Brooks vs. Shawn Stevens vs. Scorp for the vacant IC Title with VP Steven Clash as the special guest referee. Well the match went down and Shawn Stevens came out of it as the new champion. Bishop later turned up with a new attitude and a new valet but that's a whole other story.
***** The Intercontinental Title was re-instated due to demand by the handlers. There was a tournament held for the title. And the final match came down to being Cain vs. The match was long and exciting but in the end Bishop grabbed the IC Title and Graves made away with the Triple Crown. And Lupin ended up hurt really bad.
**** It was at Samhain 99' when Rampage captured the IC Title in a 3-way dance. The match was "The Mad Dawg" Jake Steed vs. Rampage vs. Kid X (The Champion going into that match). Rampage came out on top as the new Intercontinental Champion. But then at Deadfall 99' an unforgettable match was scheduled. That match being Rampage vs. Kurt "The Shocker" Laye in a ladder match. Rampage was the Intercontinental Champion going into that match and Laye was the current United States Champion. The -W4- staff decided that it was time for either the United States or Intercontinental Title to be retired so the winner of the match would get both titles. But then the winner would have to choose which title for the -W4- to retire. Well Rampage won becoming both a US and IC Champion and he decided that he would keep the United States title. And then the Intercontinental Championship was retired that night on November 28th, 1999 at the Deadfall PPV.
*** Perhaps the greatest battle ever in -W4- history, was when Bishop defended his World Title to Michael "The Fallen One" Graves. It went down at Heatstroke 99' and one of the pre-match stipulation was that whoever won got the World Heavyweight Title which was around Bishop's waist at the time, and the loser would receive the Intercontinental Championship which was owned by Graves at the time. Well after one of the longest nights in the history of the -W4- Michael "The Fallen One" Graves was victorious ending Bishop's long title reign. In return Bishop received the Intercontinental Title and Graves walked away as the new World Heavyweight Champion. During that battle Bishop was buried alive and he later suffered from amnesia when he was hit in the head with a piece of headstone by Destroyah. Then Bishop spent a lot of time recovering in the hospital, only to escape calling himself Knightmare. His once honorable and courageous demeanor turned into something like The Fallen One himself and he joined up with Graves. That was Bishop's second Intercontinental Title reign.
** Both Cain and Shawn Stevens came to an agreement during a press conference to trade the U.S. Title for the Intercontinental Title. The request of this trade was made by Stevens who was the United States Champion at the time. Stevens swapped the U.S. Title to Cain for the Intercontinental Championship.
* After a long and entertaining Intercontinental Title Tournament, the final match was set to see who would fight to become the -W4-'s first Intercontinental Champion. The two finalists were Bishop and Cobra, and they squared off at the 1999 MayDay Massacre. After a great match, Bishop came out the winner and the first ever -W4- Intercontinental Champion. It paved the way for many great champions to come. The title was brought out and presented by the -W4- staff.

** When Jesse Ramirez stepped down as Owner of The -W4- and the new staff came in. It was a decision made by the new President Buck Zumoff and the new Vice President Stevey Hayes. And that decision was to retire the entire Women's Division including the Women's Championship title. The Women who were wrestlers were offered alternate roles such as managers and valets. But most of them were gone after that. Dominique retired as the final Women's Champion. The date of October 25, 1999 marked Jesse Ramirez's last day as the Owner and the last day of the Women's Division. There's one funny thing about the whole Women's Division, and that's the fact that both the champions, The Wild One and Dominique were handled by female handlers and not alot of people knew that. Almost all the other women wrestlers were controlled by men.
* After many requests by the handlers for a Women's Division to be started, a vote was taken. After all the votes were tallied up, the -W4- announced that a Women's Division had been voted in by the handlers. The division came together quickly with many Women wrestlers signing up immediately. So then it was announced shortly there after that a Women's Title would be forged and sanctioned by the -W4-. And then a tournament was put together by the staff that was based on the rankings system. This meant that the two women with the most rank points going into the King of Harts PPV would square off to see who would become the first ever Women's Champion. Just before The King of Harts in June the staff made the match Jade vs. Awesome "The Wild One" Cherub, the winner would be the first champ. Well Awesome "The Wild One" Cherub was victorious and she became the -W4-'s first ever Women's Champion. This started a long and successful title reign for The Wild One which was ended by Dominique.
