CQ CQ CQ the CENTRAL TEXAS EMERGENCY NET. The NET CONTROL STATION for

The CENTRAL TEXAS EMERGENCY NET was first established on the
first Sunday
of May, 1956, for the pupose of furnishing emergency
communications
on an organzed basis for the central Texas area, and to
cooperate with
Civil Defence nets.
The NET is dedicated to public
service and assistance to any and all where
emergency communications may be
needed.
The object and purpose of the NET is to be prepared to furnish
efficient
emergency communications via amateur radio, to help its members
enjoy
good fellowship and understanding, to develop efficient traffic
handling by
members, and to encourage good operational techniques among its
members.
This NET welcomes all visitors. You may become a member simply
requesting
to be put on the roll. After checking in for four consecutive
weeks,
you will qualify for a NET certificate.
