Introduction to the 145.630 MHz. Lake Snake group out of Bandera County, Texas.  The group was formed by local Medina Lake hams in an effort to avoid interference to and from other Amateurs in the Bandera/San Antonio areas.  It took three attempts to find the perfect frequency for our operations, and we finally settled on the 145.630 simplex frequency.  We totally enjoy the peace and solitude of being away from the local repeaters and rat race of the city frequencies.  Just us good ol' country boys and girls.
