On May 20, 2000, The Clap played The Worst Fucking Gig Ever, an art installation by Robert Wedemeyer with help from Art Jackson.
Art put together The Clap especially for this gig. Without pay, they played for the better part of three hours inside a five foot square room which housed them, their equipment (including a full drum kit), and all the sound they could muster.
The audience could hear the band through the walls, and view them through small peepholes drilled into the door.
