The next three pages are pictures of two churches in the old town square of Quito. They are both around four hundred years old. I can't say much more about them because our guide told us so much you couldn't really absorb any of it. They have a lot of history! Many of the shots are dark because I never used a flash. These churches are still very much used and I felt intrusive enough just looking around.
This is all hand carved wood painted with gold.
