One of the best referees in football today, referee Collina is also the most recognisable and thoroughly acknowledged as the best FIFA official. He can spot dives, he doesn't run away when the team he has just awarded a foul against wish to discuss his decision, and he has the most scary-looking stare in world football to go with his shiny slaphead. I for one wish him well at Japan/Korea 2002, same goes to Gilles Vessiere (?), the top French ref too.
