| These two pictures were taken the same day I had the car towed out to my house. The tires were so old that the car could not be driven from east Los Angeles out to Pomona. From these pictures it is hard to tell that there is rust in the front fenders and that the back drivers quarter panel is bent. I bought this car for $2,300 without even thinking. I should have known what I was getting myself into. I had purchased this car in August of '00. The car is the most base model that can be purchased. I bought it with the original six cylinder in it and powerglide. It is a post-sedan model. Along with the quarter panel dent, there are also several other little dents, and what seems to be some spots filled with Bondo. Oh No! Well I just couldn't give up on the car, I am just going to have to finish it. Read On... |

| Here are some interior shots taken that same day. I wish I would have seen the black plate shoved under the rubber floor mat that was covering the huge rust hole in the floor pan before I bought the car. But a little elbow grease and Christmas break fixed that right up. I used POR-15 for this problem. It is good for a cheap fix, but I would recommend have the panels welded for a permanent fix. Although, When it was done, it looked great, and no more hole!! I also added a new black carpet kit. |

| Being my daily driver, I had to make the car look halfway decent especially after one of the neighbors complained about the car sitting on the street and it was almost towed away. Bastards!!. So I just eyeballed the tire and wheel sizes and forked up the dough. I also put on some air shocks and had the air hoses run through the back bumper and drilled for easy access.The tires and rims make the car look 100x better. |
