The Beatles third album, A Hard Day's Night, was also the soundtrack to their first full-length motion picture. The movie, which has been called "an exaggerated day in the life of the Beatles", was a hit. The soundtrack faired as well. The cover featured miniature pictures of each of the Beatles in different poses, while the album itself was the first to feature all original music. One of the hits among the soundtrack was Can't Buy Me Love, which was the first song ever to hold #1 in Britain and the U.S. at the same time. Other notables incude John's A Hard Day's Night, and I'll Cry Instead. The running time was 30 minutes and was produced by George Martin.
