| It was a tight game up until the 8th inning when the Red Sox plated 4 runs. Thanks to the Angels poor play and wild pitches, the Sox were able to take this one to take a 2-0 lead in the best of 5 series against the Anaheim Angels. It is back to Fenway on Friday where the Sox hope to wrap up this matchup. Meanwhile, in the Bronx, the hated Yankees managed to come back and score the winning run in the bottom of the 12th inning to tie the other ALDS series at one apiece. And so it goes.
