These pictures are obviously from the great city of San Francisco which I have had the pleasure of visiting twice now. The above left picture is a shot of the Golden Gate bridge and the top picture is a shot of the San Francisco skyline as seen from the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. The picture to the left is of Alcatraz Island and the prison there. I highly recommend taking in the view from the Golden Gate National Recreation Area as well as from Pier 39 where the shot of Alcatraz was taken. It is a good time. And if you ever visit Alcatraz, let me know what you thought. I had to pass it up the past two times but I do wish to go sometime.

The picture to the right is of the Manhattan skyline as framed by the Verrazzano Narrows bridge. The bridge is longer than the Golden Gate. The picture was taken while anchored off the coast of Earl, NJ waiting to onload several thousand pounds of ammunition for an upcoming patrol. The picture below is of the Vietnam War Memorial or "The Wall." If you ever have the chance to visit D.C., it is worth your while to visit the wall as well as the many monuments on the Mall including the Smithsonian Institute's museums (Air & Space, American History, Natural History, and many art museums).
The two pictures at the bottom of the page were taken while visiting Saint Louis. The one on the left is what is claimed to be the world's largest ketchup bottle in Collinsville, IL. The one on the right is of Busch Stadium, home of the Saint Louis Cardinals. If you see the top row, furthest from you, that is my seat for my only Cardinals game to date, where Mark McGwire hit two doubles, but no homers. I have tickets for this year and I hope to see my first McGwire home run. At least I have seen Pedro pitch!
