Tricks
When approaching a droid fighter from behind, try spinning as you fire to get a longer range.
Use the Sharp Turn key to maximum effect when chasing crafts, especially STAPs.
Shoot at large targets to build up your accuracy.
Engage starfighters from close-range, and turrets from long range.
Get the cluster missiles before attempting Gold on any level.
To get platinum of Comm 4 easily, just shoot at the sheild loads of times. Each shot counts as one enemy destroyed. Then, ignore the radar and fly towards the moon, and destroy the sattelite. Then, fly back to the comm sattelite, and the sheilds will have gone - just blow it up and, voila!

Tips
Bonus Power-Ups
Level 1: Assault on Theed - Advanced Shields (Shortly after escuing Kael for the first time, he will stop again, fired at by Droidekas and a tank. Destroy the tank, and go through the archway that it was guarding to get the sheilds)
Level 4: Smuggler's Alliance - Advanced Missiles (In the part when you have to save a homestead, after youve killed the STAPs, two more will come in. Blow these up before they can kill the civillian, and he will lead you to the bonus.)
Level 7: Glacial Grave - Advanced Bombs (Near the end of the level, there is a Naboo house, but the radar shows that it belongs to the Federation. Blast this to reveal the bonus - you might have to do a little exploring, however)
Level 9: Sanctuary - Rapid Fire Lasers (At the end of the level, fly left from the sanctuary to reach a huge volcano. The bonus is here.)
Level 11: Borvo the Hutt - Homing Torpedoes (Instead of following Kol Kotha to Borvo, follow him to the mound that Borvo is in, then fly round the mound. You'll find a small 'villiage' with trees and two houses. Scorch the trees to find the powerup.)
Level 12: Liberation of Camp 4 - Advanced Lasers (When you destroy the last sheild generator, instead of going down go up. You'll reach the bonus.)
Level 17: Encounter on Coruscant - Seeker Cluster Torpedoes (The powerup is in the tunnel directly behind you.)

Weird Stuff
How to destroy a Trade Federation Battleship while eating a pizza simultaneously!

1. Acquire pizza.
2. Turn on game, start level etc.
3. Destroy trade fed fighters with cluster torpedoes.
4. During cut scene detach slice of pizza and begin eating keeping your index finger on brakes and pizza holding hand’s pinky on lasers.
5. Destroy tractors.
6. Move, as far left or right as possible until your ship turns it’s self around, while eating pizza.
7. Begin second slice.
8. Align your ship with the shield generator and begin firing lasers while holding brakes.
9. If shields intact repeat steps 6 - 9 as needed.

On Liberation of Camp 4 work your way up til you can trade in the STAP for the Flash or Gian Speeder. Then, head back DOWN to the entrance gate. Using your speeder, try to jump over the sides of the gate using the small hills as your ramp.

In level one after you reach the 2nd group of droids there are 4 balconys to the left, they can be destroyed!!!.

In level 3 Vedd's fighter will fire at TF ships while its on the ground and hes not even in the ship.

In Borvo if you kill Kol he says "bury me in the swamp!!"

A trio of droid fighters were flying past a mine, while a laser blast of mine was en-route. BOOM! The mine went and the droids were vaped!

Has any one noticed that Cap. Kael's voice is in "The Queens Gambit". Um hes dead. (Note - I haven't spotted this one myself, its probably just the same voice actor)

In Trade Federation Secrets, fly out to the island, and you'll find a hidden security hangar, where you can swap your N-1 for a police cruiser or bomber (yeah, like you would really want to do that!)

On Camp Four, shoot the prisoner transports to hear Kol scream insults such as "No! Dammit!", "Stick to the plan!!", "You lookin' for something to shoot, Naboo boy?" and "You couldn't hit the side of a space slug!".

The Naboo Military actually doing something!!!
