Balance
Woke up early today. Brutal session with the running machine, so I’m good and sore. Once I got to my room, all showered and clean, I spent the first half of the day putting the final touches on a new draft of something, and it was the kind of detail-oriented work that always fries my brain a bit. Then I came online, checked me mail, had a look at my site and realised I haven’t been blogging for quite a while now.

Ya know, some people’s thoughts…they’re like champagne. Pop the cork and things start flowing, flowing and flowing. But mine…it’s like your UHU Glue, (the almost empty kind) . Take off the cap, have a nice wee squeeze and yes, stuff might come out, albeit reluctantly. 'Tis slow.

Heh heh. That’s how it is with me thoughts.

So anyway, even UHU glue starts coming out once it’s pumped-up and all. It’s been all right, the last 2 months. Ya know, the usual stuff every semester, with assignments piling up and final exams approaching, giving u that fear of the unknown (“How u gonna fare in them exams?”, “Have I studied all the tips the lecturers gave already?” “Am I all set hey?”). You get your usual end-of-the-semester tension coupled with a lil nice itty bitty bit of pressure. The cycle will be broken once this higher education phase is completed. Aii,

Sometimes I do wonder how it would feel like, life after school, joining the workforce, having a career, earning monthly salaries, etc. No more classes, just nice 9-5 working hours, Monday to Friday (Yeah!).

So I’ll be having them exams next week. The English Premier League season is over, so there goes one my stress-busters. Will wake up in the morning with butterflies in me stomach. Yeah. Waiting for exams was never easy. Can’t wait for the holidays. 2 weeks of bliss. Want to go to the saloon for a redye. Want to finish up Nick Hornby’s ‘About a Boy’. Want to get Harry Potter 5, watch ‘The Hulk’, blah blah blah. Want to recharge my depleted batteries. Ahhh, the things I would do in the holidays.

Found this in Robert Jordan’s ‘The Eye of the World’. Fantasy epic novel, like Tolkien’s stuff.
To Harriet
Heart of my heart,
Light of my life,
Forever.

Beautiful isn’t it? Take care, y’all. ‘Till the next time.
