Waikato Agility Group
The Waikato Agility Group (WAG) is based in Hamilton, New Zealand, and was formed in 1994 to provide specialist training in the sport of Dog Agility.

Dog Agility provides competition for dogs and human handlers similar to showjumping of horses, except that in addition to jumping, the dog must execute a variety of obstacles, including tunnels, ramps, see-saws and weaving poles.  In competition accuracy is paramount, followed by speed.

WAG offers 5 levels of training classes from Beginner through to Competition.  All classes are held on Thursday nights from January to December, split into four terms which follow the NZ school terms.

WAG also provides training in Flygility, which entails the dog completing a set of obstacles before triggering a mechanism which release a ball from a box.  The dog must then return with the ball over the set of obstacles in the fastest time possible.

WAG is dedicated to educating people to become good and responsible dog owners.  Whilst exercising the dogs mind and body, the club also provides a social outlet for their owners.  Agility and Flygility provide a great way of having fun with your "best friend".
