"Willy" has been playing in bands throughout the Southeast for many years.
Originally from Massachusetts, "Willy" has performed on stages with many blues, rock, country and jazz greats.
"Willy's" syle is not defined, he plays a wide variety of music and artists. This sets him apart, as he can play and sing a "Little Walter" tune and them rip into a modified harp attack version of a "Rage" or "Lenny Kravitz" song with the same intensity.
"Willy" plays Lee Oscar harps through a vintage Astatic shell with a vintage Shure controlled magnetic element. His amp of choice is a modified Fender Blues Deluxe with tubes geared to his liking. When using effects he uses a Boss digital delay. ***This just in, "Wailin Willy" goes wireless with Samson.
"Willy's" percussion instruments are almost entirely L.P.
