Welcome! Thank you for viewing my website and I know you'll find lots of wonderful pieces here. There are unique African inspired, African American, and other ethnically charged works. A little bit about me... I'm currently a resident of Norman, Oklahoma and a native of Oklahoma where I've lived all of her life. I'm a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Illustration. Shortly after graduating, I moved to Oklahoma City, gaining employment with a major clothing store as the assistant to the director of merchandising. I left their employ after deciding to freelance as a Merchandising designer working from home. |

After years as a freelance merchandising designer, and some friendly persuasion from friends, I decided to begin my career as an artist. So, for ten years now I've been a professional artist creating pen & ink art stippled on canvas, that focused on African and African American related culture. As I continued, it branched into other cultures, such as Asian, and Native American. Several years later, feeling a need to work with my hands, "Ethnic Creations", a series of mixed-medium sculpture was born. Enjoy! |
