Time stops for no one. Whether you are ready to move on or not; whether you want to or not. Every night closes with the question of whether it was worth it. Every morning begins with the question of what can I do to make it worth it. We never answer the question; we aren't supposed to. You are not special; you are not rare. Once you get over the shock of not being an "individual," you realize that being an individual just made you lonely and lost. While being part of the masses may not be special, it is no better or worse than being an individual. Loneliness or facelessness: the choice is yours. My story is like many others. It is only because I am living it that it is different. It is only because you know my story that it is known at all. December, 2002 |
