The Photo Page!!! |
|
|
|
Every photo on this page has been either sent to me via the Internet, scanned and uploaded by myself (because as we all know, I'll probably never get a digital camera. I'm soooo archaic!), or stolen from other people's websites (-cough- Piazza -cough-). I have started a photo page for two reasons: 1) I consider myself an amateur photographer and 2) I like for people to have reference points for what I'm talking about should they be confused. Enjoy! |

Fall 2002. My first show with the wonderful Gemini Theatre at Philadelphia University. Granted I got cast only because there are three male roles and three men auditioned...but that's not the point. This began my brief and extreme love affair with the best Theatre group at any university. |

Spring 2003. My second and (sniff) last show with Gemini Theatre at Philadelphia University. Great script by Noel Coward and a top-notch cast of professional non-theatre majors made this a real treat to perform. |

Summer 2003. A show at Summer Place Theatre in Naperville. I played Howard, a doofus weatherman. My first attempt at broad (and do I mean, broad) farce. My family and friends thought it wasn't that good (reserving praise for my performance) but the director loved it so...yeah... |

As a rule, I do not take pictures of people...I just don't. It has to stem from the first 16 years of my life when I was more influenced by abandoned buildings than the concept of having friends. Just in time for leaving high school and massive school switches, I realized that I needed them. Oops. So now here are the pictures of people in my life. |

Every now and then, I try to get a picture of myself in order to kind of keep tabs, so to speak. They're varied and aren't really necessary, but why not? |

I love investigating abandoned buildings. It's even more fun when you get to go inside them and take pictures. Hopefully you won't fall through the floorboards, but if you do, at least you'll die happy...in the basement of a mold-infested hellhole. Even though I've given up architecture as a major, I still love finding relics. |

Even though I had to sneak onto the premises and convince a security guard that I was with the firm demolishing the building, this is by far, the most extensive set of pictures I've gotten of an abadoned building. Enjoy. |

And what that lofty title means is that every now and then I try to make art with my photos. I'm able to find a wide variety of topics to work with and enjoy creating social commentary when I don't have the urge to write. |

This isn't the theater that I worked at. Instead, this is some freakish creation that I simply don't know anymore. Hence, whey I do not work there as of today's date. |
