Summer is over, but the fall marching season is up and running!!!  So far, we've had a successful week of Band Camp the week of August 22nd and our first football game half-time performance.  We're still at the beginning of the season, but there's a lot to look forward to!!!

We've got a lot of work ahead of us, but in time, it'll all come together to be a great show.
Everyone needs to show up for every practice they need to be at--if this doesn't happen, there's no way that our show can go on!  We need YOU to make it happen!  So, don't hang out and skip band and blow it off--if you do, the year will be a flop!!!

However...  I sense a good year coming on, so let's keep up the great work and show those other bands how we're small AND mighty!!!

Best autumn wishes,

If you've seen "Shrek 2," you've already heard from this awesome Aussie!!!  Her duet with David Bowie on the song "Changes" was a main musical feature in the movie, and she's also been featured as the background vocalist on the commercials for ABC's new series, "The Days."  She plays almost every instrument on her debut album, "Flutterby", and it is worth a listen for that alone!  Great talents, great music, and a great upcoming career...  Give her a listen!!!
