Two classes: Entering grades 4 - 5 & Entering grades 6 - 9. Description from course catalogue: Imagine yourself as a budding aerospace engineer? Apply the fundamentals of research and design as you build and fly your own walk-along glider! Learn the basics of airframe design and experiment with ballast weights to determine the effects of weight and balance on flight characteristics, a problem which must be addressed for the safety of any flight. Complete your introductory flight instruction by learning how to control the glider using a suitable paddle, both sustaining and steering it in flight. Limit: 16.
