Celtic Gods O
OGMA:  The god of charms, eloquence, incantiations, learning, and poetry.  He is the son of the Danu and the Dagda, and one of the foremost members of the Tuatha Dé Danann. He is the inventor of the ancient Ogham alphabet which is used in the earliest Irish writings.  He also has a role in conveying souls to the Otherworld.

At the Second Battle of Mag Turiedh, Ogma slew Indech, son of the Formorii goddess Domnu.  He claimed as his prize the magical sword that was capable of recounting all the deed it had performed.

He was married to Etain(3), daughter of Dian Cecht.  They had Cairpe and Tuireann.

OGYRUAN:  The god of bards. Father of Gwenhwyar.

OLWEN:  Olwen ("white track", probably for flowers that blossomed under her feet) was the daughter of the Ysbaddaden.  His life depended on keeping his daughter a virgin.  She was a beautiful woman of high degree.  When she married, her father's power (and life) was transferred to her husband.
