He had murdered his father, Sera and his mother in hopes of taking over their kingdom, but was driven out because of his crimes instead. After settling Ireland, Parthalon went on a long journey leaving his wife alone. She took up with the servant Todga and they were discovered on Parthalon's return as lovers.
