Greetings, This is the Wonderfulness of myself, WalkingCross, better known as Dale.  The pictures you will see on these pages are of my work.  I like to build stuff out of wood in my workshop out in my garage.  Most things are original works, not from patterns.  The computer desk you see me with is one of my works.  It is a corner desk made in two pieces, that way if I want to move it somewhere else I can.
Believe it or not about 90% of the things that I build are made from recycled wood like packing crates, skids and pallets.  I resaw the wood and then run it through a surface plainer and a joiner.  The joiner makes good edges on the wood.
This is a round top trunk that I recently put together.  It is made of tulip poplar, oak, pine and maple.  It has hand painted ceramic and brass handles with brass hinges and hasp's.
Inside is a liftout tray for goodies and trinkets with plenty of storage space underneath.  It is lined in red felt.
This is a pedistal cradle made from yellow pine and is stained with colonial maple stain.  The cradle can swing attached or can be removed from the pedistal and placed on the floor to rock.
