But he will always be alive in the hearts and minds he touched. Be strong and so eday you'll be together again. Ed, if you need someone to listen to you or just talk email me sometime. I am going to become a nurse and try to work in Peds. Even though I didn't know Jason very well in my hospital ID I will always carry a min pic of Jason to remind me of how precious hildren and time is.

My deepest sympathy and prayers for you and your family. This piece has lent me some kind of support since my son drowned. Jennifer To all Parents(and grand-parents) "I'll lend you, for a little time, a child of mine" He said, "For you to love the while he lives, and mourn for when he's dead. It may be six or seven years, or twenty-two or three, But will you, till I call him back, take care of him for Me? He'll bring his charm to gladden you, and should his stay be brief, You'll have his lovely memories as solace for your grief. I cannot promise he will stay, since all from earth return; But there are lessons taught down there, I want this child to learn. I've looked the wide world over in my search for teachers true; And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes, I have selected you. Now will give him all your love nor think the labour vain; Nor hate Me when I come to call, to take him back again?" I fancied that I heard them say: "Dear Lord, Thy will be done. For all the joy They child shall bring, the risk of grief we'll run. We'll Shelter him with tenderness, we'll love him while we may; And for the happiness we've known forever grateful stay; But should the angels call for him much sooner than we planned We'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand. Hi Ed I am sure that Jason is still doing GREAT! He is a lovely little guy. Melissa's MIBG-Szinti was negative! Good news, but we do not have the other results yet (which I trust are also negative, which would mean treatements are finished!) We will have a big party on her 3rd birthday on September 11! I am sure that Jason will also do great during radiation. All the best to you all Moni Bussmann from Switzerland

Yes, God is still in the miracle business!! I am so glad to hear Jason is doing well after the BMT. After what we thought was a stomach virus, our son Jonathan (2 yrs old) was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma this year, actually on Jason's birthday (5/16). He had surgery to remove the tumor and left kidney two days later. Then, with the bone marrow negative and the bone density scan negative, we thought we were looking at stage II. However, the MIBG showed spots on each knee...stage IV. He has just finis ed his second chemo and is doing great. What I am interested in, is your April 26th update about the spots found on Jason's legs and the x-ray technician saying the hot spots may have been growth spots. How did that turn out?? Were they cancer or not?? My wife just talked to a woman who works at the Ronald McD house where we are having treatments, and her son, who was diagnosed at 2 1/2 and is 7 now, had suspicious spots on his shoulders that they said could have been growth spurts (even though they di gnosed him at Stage IV). Any info you could provide would be greatly appreciated. We will keep Jason in our prayers. Please pray for our son Jonathan, also.

Thank God your Jason is doing so well. I am just about to face the same fight you did . My 2 1/2 month old grandson has just been diagnosed with this disease. He has a very large tumor in the liver and has not been able to have the bone marrow test as o yet. My son & family had just arrived at Misawa Air Base for a 3 yr. assignment. My son is airforce. My grandson, Trent, had an enlarged belly but the doctors at Eglin A.B. told them it was probably gas. Anyway, I guess our struggle is about to begin. Once again, I am thrilled with your Jason's progress. God bless you & yours. Janice McDonald

Thank you very much for your website. It is so encouraging to know that we are not alone in this fight. My nephew, Logan Young, was diagnosed on April 14, 2000 with Stage IV neuroblastoma. We have watched our perfectly normal 4 year old get so ill over such a short period of time. His 5th birthday was April 19 and he celebrated it at the hospital. I have never heard of this before in my life and now, through the internet, finding that there are so many families out there who lives have been touched by this terrible disease. I pray that God watches over and keeps your little angel and mine in his loving hands and that some good will come out of this. Please feel free to email me at sparks@dinslaw.com. This is all so new to us and I have read stories ith happy endings and stories with sad endings. I pray God will make yours and ours a happy ending.

I work at DowAgrosciences and have been part of the prayer chain since Sandy shared about Jason's condition. The steadfastness of your faith in the Lord is an inspiration to us. Let us not see God's love according to our circumstances, but let us view our circumstances in light of God's unconditional love and faithfulness to us in all things. You remain in our thoughts and prayers.

Hi, my name is Mandy and I'm Robin Parker's sister. She works with Jeff at Burt Watson's. She told me about Jason having cancer. It seems so sad to hear that a young child has cancer. It must be undescribably hard to go through that. He is a very pre ious child. I hope things go well at the hospital with his latest CT scan results. Jason will be in my prayers. I would love to hear about updates when you get them. If you can take the time to write me when you hear new news, I would be happy to hear how he's doing. And that way I will also know what to say in my prayers for him. I look forward to hearing Jason's latest update. Thank you for taking the time to send updates. I'm sure if Jason were old enough to understand what you were doing for hi , he would see just how precious he is to everyone in his life. I hope all goes well in the future. Mandy

Our prayers are with you. May God provide complete recovery for Jason. We spoke with Dr. Yanik at Mott Hospital (Ann Arbor) a couple of weeks ago. He was in charge of our Katie's BMT. He told us that the treatment that was pioneered with Katie has been effective in cases following hers. That is encouraging, and of comfort to us, too.
