On tap for this week was the "half-way challenge" with double points on the line.
Rick would enjoy a fast race car through-out warm ups, posting lap times that would be the norm for evening condtions.  Rick would start 3rd. in the 3rd. heat, as there were 19 Late models, which would require the extra heat.  Rick patiently waited for the right time, and he decided to make a move to the "outside" groove, battling with Kermit Jacoby for several laps before rocketing  into the lead. Rick would check out for his third heat win of the season.

Main event time would have the team making only slight air pressure adjustments to the #34, as they were very happy with the car's earlier performance.  Rick was slated to begin in the 7th position, again waiting patiently for things to pan out.  Once again, he would chose the "outside" lane and advance his way to the second position and battle eventual winner Tom Flanagan for several laps, until running through some liquid on the track, which made the car very loose.  Unfortunately, Rick would slip back to third due to the foreign matter on the outer groove of the track.  All in all the crew was very happy with the outcome of the evening, also being able to take hope an undamage race car. Ricks performance for the double point show moved him into 2nd place in the point standings. The latemodels will have the upcoming saturday off, but the team will be at the track, as crew chief  Jake "chunky munky" Searfoss will try his hand at the small car enduro.

     See you at the races!!!!!!!!!!!!
