| The loop at the right side of this picture is there so that it won't interfere with the jack. Originally there was a hole in the floor with a rubber plug; the plug was removed and the jack was operated from inside the car. My home made replacement floor doesn't have the hole though; since I don't have the original jack, I doubt I'll go to the trouble of putting it there. Should I bother making the loop in the brake line then? Hmm. I suppose I'll have to use up the length somehow. |
| This picture is a continuation of the one above, moving toward the rear of the car. At the extreme left you can see the brake pipe bending just a little - this is the start of the loop described above. Where it curves at the right side of the picture is where it used to connect to the flex hose - there is a clip protruding from the frame right there but you can't see it in this picture. |
