Main bearings for a Triumph TR3 can be used in the TEA engine. One place from which they can be sourced is British Parts Northwest. (Big end bearings for the same car will likewise fit.) The original oil filter head has been changed to one from a Triumph, as spin-on filter adapters are readily available. The difference is that on the Triumph, the long bolt through the centre of the canister inserts from the bottom and threads into the oil filter head; these threads in the head are used to receive the spin-on adapter. |
