They call these "V-type" snowblowers - you drive forward through the snow, and the V shape scoops the snow toward the centre. There is just a simple paddle connected to the pto, and the chute can be flipped to shoot the snow left or right from the driver's seat.
This particular model has a feature whereby you can remove the frame, slide it out, and insert it from the back. Then after mounting the pto shaft on the other end, you can use it the other way around i.e. back into the snow.
You have to get the hang of blowing snow without a live pto, but it can be done alright.
