The pulley adapter bolts right over the pto. In the centre you can see the eye bolt from the saw on the pin at the back end of the pulley adapter. The reason it is offset to the left is so that the belt pulley doesn't interfere with the left lift arm. Since the eye bolt from the saw is lower than the rear ends of the lift arms, when you raise the hydraulics, the body of the saw swings up and forward - the eye at the belt pulley being the pivot point. This has the effect of bringing the driven pulley closer to the driving pulley, and the saw stops turning even though the pto is still engaged. |
